I recently edited 2 pages from http://www.dermasolve.com in an effort to SEO the page content and attract more traffic and customers. The original site was made of bitmap images cut into html tables – search engines had no clue what the site was talking about. The goals we set were to replace important bitmaps with html css that could be ready be search engines on the index and products pages. We kept the original keywords and descriptions

buy himcolin online

and added alt tags and titles to the links and images.

prednisolone

The index page contains a large bitmap panel with 3 menu tabs at the top. These tabs were using javascript to swap the content around and I replaced these with a:hover effects and re-wrote the javascript to hide and display the content with css. The rest of the page uses a variety of headers and unordered lists and heavy with css values to float the ascii text over the exact same position as seen in the bitmaps. The original bitmaps were then edited to remove their text and reused as background images in the div are

between tenormin

as.

The products page has 3 large rows, each with different columns. I kept the product images and floated their descriptions and prices over new background images. I was able to keep the original Form code and referral php includes. The submit buttons were all replaces with a:hover effects that used a single bitmap image and changed the backgrounds Y position to show different states with the a:hover – this reduced the amount of javascript on the page.

Within 24hrs of going public, the client reported a 50% increase in traffic to their site and have asked for more pages to be optimized. With a few tweaks and some nice bitmaps of products, the site will be outstanding for humans and bots alike.
